    Our client, a retailer based in Brussels with over 250 shops in Belgium, France and Luxemburg, is urgently looking for a self-employed Interim Warehouse & Logistics Manager for a period of 12 to 18 months.

    The Warehouse & Logistics Manager's key responsibilities will include:

    • Direct and manage the Warehousing and Logistics operations.
    • Ensure swift and effective order management, picking, transport for both retail and e-commerce activities.
    • Optimise the flow, processes, and operational effectiveness of the warehousing & logistics operations.
    • Ensure project management.
    • Manage a team of 50 blue collars and 3 direct reports.
    • Interact with the heads of procurement, supply & demand, and sales on a regular basis to ensure and effective collaboration and customer satisfaction.
    • Adapt the logistics operations to the strategic business needs.
    • You validate all logistics related invoiced and costs.
    • You ensure the team respects internal guidelines and steer them to good performance.
    • You liaise with HR as to headcount planning, recruitments, and social relations.
    • You ensure full safety and security on the site.

    The key qualifications required for this interim management job:

    • You have solid experience in warehousing & logistics management, preferably in the retail sector.
    • You have managed large blue-collar teams in an effective manner.
    • You have strong leadership skills and are capable to steer people in the right direction.
    • You are used to working in a fast-moving environment in which quick and efficient decisions need to be taken.
    • You have an eye for efficiencies, you are on out of the bow thinker and love to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • You are used to working with SAP.
    • You speak French fluently and you have a good professional level of Dutch and English.
