Als business analist maak je deel uit van een gemotiveerd team dat instaat voor optimale organisatie en ondersteuning van administratieve processen, zowel op applicatie-, proces- als businessniveau, en dit binnen een agile context.
Je bent als analist betrokken bij verschillende changes en projecten om businessprocessen te analiseren en te verbeteren in de domein onderwijs, onderzoek en bedrijfsvoering. Het is jouw rol om de business-behoeften te capteren en om de vertaalslag te maken naar processen en applicaties. Je werkt hierbij ondersteunend aan de Product Manager om de business behoeften om te zetten naar stories, waarbij je de product backlog niet alleen voedt, maar er eveneens voor zorgt dat deze backlog een werkbaar instrument is voor heel het team. Je draagt bij dit alles extra zorg voor kennisborging en -deling. Je bent dan ook hét aanspreekpunt voor helpdeskmedewerkers, key-users, developers en testers.
Concreet liggen oa. volgende verantwoordelijkheden bij jou:
• Klantenkennis opbouwen en actief onderhouden ('knowing the customer');
• Je helpt de business om hun noden te vertalen naar features en stories waarbij je ook de impactanalyses uitvoert;
• Je zorgt samen met het team voor de coördinatie en de afhandeling van incidenten en features;
• Je analiseert businessprocessen en -procedures en wijzigt deze volgens afgesproken best practices;
• Je brengt de businessprocessen in kaart en houdt ze up to date;
• Je begeleidt business process workshops ter ondersteuning van de Process Owners;
• Je maakt de vertaalslag van business processen naar software;
• Je begeleidt key users tijdens de user acceptance testen;
• Je werkt samen met de Product Manager, ontwikkelaars en testers om de applicatie efficiënter, beter en gebruiksvriendelijker te maken;
• Je helpt de Product Manager om de doelstellingen uit de roadmap te definiëren en te realiseren met een maximale focus op de ondersteuning van de eindgebruiker.
Voor deze functie zal Brussels Humanities, Sciences & Engineering Campus (Elsene) je thuisbasis worden, in combinatie met thuiswerk.
