- Maximise End of Life Vehicle (ELV) recycling by reintegration of this recycled material back into Toyota supply chain.
- Battery 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) POC:Design POC to validate business case and identify learning outcomes to close the knowledge GAP. Create action plan and KPI's with stakeholders and lead implementation of Battery 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle): Linked with POC #2 (vehicle & battery disassembly) study best sorting process for BEV, PHEV, HEV batteries. Study and define best in class battery State of Health (SOH) evaluation process, with internal and external partners. Implement SOH evaluation process, allowing sorting in 3 categories: Reuse in Vehicle Reuse in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) RecyclingReuse in Vehicle: Study profit contribution by increased NiMH Reman volume with Value-Chain (VC). Study technical and quality requirements for Li-Ion battery reman. Define commercialisation process and implement with VCReuse in BESS: Study market potential and technical requirements with internal/external stakeholders. Define business case and commercialisation plan. Recycling: Complete strategic evaluation (technology, capability, capacity...) of current and future EU recycling partners to meet our '31 Battery Directive compliance targets.Create "Best Practice Battery 3R Model" based on POC learning and develop Pan-E rollout plan.
- Plastic & Copper Recycling POC: Design POC to validate business case and identify learning outcomes to close the knowledge GAP. Create action plan and KPI's with stakeholders and lead implementation by engaging with external partners and internal stakeholders. Develop efficient sorting process linked with POC 2 (ATF/Dismantler) to allow separation of:Plastics : Various grades of plastics (PP, PA, ABS...) and within plastic family ( PP : TSOP5, Copper : Wiring harness, electrical motor...Define technical requirements of material output with relevant downstream stakeholders. Based on technical requirements, process design should include line layout, machine and equipment specification and resource requirements. Create "Best Practice Plastic and Copper Recycling Model" based on POC learning and develop Pan-E rollout plan.
- You are fluent in English (TME's business language)
- University degree (Business/Engineering/Project Management)
- Min 3 years' experience in the Automotive industry with focus as Strategy/Business analyst or material/environmental engineering
- Knowledgeable and passion for: Sustainability, Circular Economy, Engineering material waste management is a plus.
- Functional knowledge in R&D, Purchasing, Value Chain or Sales is a plus
- Strong communications skills to various levels
- Strong analytical skills focussed on process analysis
- Interests in understanding the relevant processes & activities of other functions linked with LCV
