Hauptaufgaben
As Health Technician (Host Nation Patient Liaison), you will coordinate support and provide assistance to U.S. patients during their initial outpatient visit to Host Nation (HN) medical facilities.
You will perform the following duties:
- Ensure complete and timely liaison between the U.S. medical personnel, HN medical personnel and other U.S. government service and assistance activities.
- Coordinate care and accompany patients on initial outpatient visits to HN providers.
- Facilitate communication between patient and provider by explaining the risks, benefits, and alternatives to care being recommended as well as assisting with the medical equipment from the military medical facilities and/or from HN providers.

US Army in Belgium is an American government agency whose mission is to provide logistical and administrative support to the US personnel at NATO and SHAPE in Belgium.
The SHAPE Healthcare Facility is an outpatient clinic that provides non-emergency medical services to the SHAPE Community.
• DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER
- Permanent, full-time (38 hours/week).
- Regular work schedule (Monday through Friday).
- Salary: from 3,525.65 EUR gross/month
