- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de verdere uitbouw, de animatie en de coördinatie van het netwerk van vrijwilligers ter ondersteuning van kinderrechteneducatie-activiteiten en evenementen naar het grote publiek.
- Je bedenkt nieuwe opportuniteiten voor het mobiliseren van vrijwilligers.
- Je zorgt voor de aanwerving van verschillende types van vrijwilligers: vrijwilligers met het oog op kinderrechteneducatie; zij die evenementen naar het grote publiek willen ondersteunen of lokale activiteiten willen opzetten.
- Je organiseert de trainingsprogramma's voor vrijwilligers en bent in staat deze workshops ook zelf te animeren.
- Je biedt een kader en inhoud voor onze vrijwilligers om met kinderen te communiceren in lijn met de waarden van UNICEF.
- Je communiceert met vrijwilligers en informeert hen over geplande UNICEF-campagnes (online/offline).
- In de samenwerking met de vrijwilligers, controleer en bewaak je de regels i.v.m. de UNICEF Brand.
- Je creëert en beheert het materiaal (binnen het kader van hun werkdomein) en voert logistieke taken uit waar nodig.
- Je coördineert vrijwilligers-acties en evenementen.
- Je houdt de database van de vrijwilligers up-to-date.
- Je levert een bijdrage aan de algemene communicatiestrategie van UNICEF België door mee te werken aan de vrijwilligersstrategie om de betrokkenheid te vergroten. Bovendien integreer je vrijwilligers om de campagnes van UNICEF België te ondersteunen in overeenstemming met de jaarlijkse actieplannen.
- Je draagt bij tot de verwezenlijking van het gemeenschappelijk strategisch plan en de jaarlijkse actieplannen.
- Je gaat zeer projectmatig te werk in de uitrol van vrijwilligersprojecten.
- Je volgt de marktevolutie op het vlak van vrijwilligerswerking op.
- Je monitort en evalueert de vrijwilligersactiviteiten en rapporteert over de realisatie van de doelstellingen.
- Je werkt nauw samen met je collega Volunteer Officer, alsook met je collega's uit de andere departementen volgens de prioriteiten. Gewenst profiel
- Je beschikt over een Bachelor (rechten, pedagogische studies, communicatie, sociale wetenschappen, sociaal werk...) of je hebt een succesvolle relevante beroepservaring van 2 jaar.
- Een absolute meerwaarde zijn: het hebben van pedagogische vaardigheden en/of kennis van kinderrechten en wereldburgerschapseducatie; Ervaring in het begeleiden van vrijwilligers of zelf vrijwilliger zijn geweest. Ervaring in het opzetten en/of begeleiden van evenementen of activiteiten gericht op het grote publiek is een absolute meerwaarde.
- Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B.
- Je bent goed tweetalig (moedertaal Nederlands en zeer vlot in het Frans).
- Je bent een goede communicator en een echte teamplayer.
- Je bent in staat op een gecoördineerde/planmatige manier een project tot een goed einde te brengen.
- Je bent een echte doorzetter en je stelt je flexibel op wanneer je een deadline moet halen.
- Je houdt van netwerken, zowel intern als buiten de organisatie.

Als Volunteer Officer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de mobilisatie van onze vrijwilligers.
