    Our client, a leading provider of insurance and risk management solutions is looking for EU Regulatory & Governance Manager to join their team in Belgium.

    As the EU Regulatory & Governance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, as well as maintaining effective governance practices across our organization. Your expertise will be pivotal in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and implementing robust governance frameworks.

    Responsabilities :
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of EU regulatory requirements applicable to our industry sector.
    • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on our operations, providing timely guidance to relevant stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products, services, and processes comply with applicable regulations and standards.
    • Lead regulatory compliance assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
    • Establish and maintain effective governance structures, policies, and procedures to promote transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct.
    • Provide training and guidance to employees on regulatory compliance and governance matters, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in regulatory compliance and governance, implementing relevant initiatives to enhance our practices.
    • Prepare and present reports to senior management and board committees on regulatory compliance and governance matters, highlighting key risks and mitigating strategies.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline regulatory compliance processes and enhance governance effectiveness.

    Profile :
    • Degree in Law, Insurance, Business Administration or related field.
    • Proven experience inregulatory affairs, compliance, or governance roles, preferably in a regulated industry or financial institution.
    • In-depth knowledge of EU regulatory requirements relevant to our industry sector, such as data protection regulations, financial regulations, etc.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to successful completion.
    • Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
