    Our client from the Netherlands, an insurance player, is expanding its business in Belgium and is therefore looking for a new colleague. The Financial Assistant they are looking for is responsible for the daily qualitative processing of accounting and financial documents/processes of the company.

    Description

    • Accounting processing of payments, receipts and transfers
    • Checks and pays credit balances to intermediaries.
    • Ensures the follow-up of debit balances and takes the necessary (legal) actions for this purpose.
    • Checks and prepares tax sheets within legal deadlines and performs rectifications if necessary.
    • Reconciles accounts in the context of intermediary transport to ensure accounting reconciliation and, where necessary, makes corrections (import and reconciliation entries, analysis of differences + actions for corrections, follow-up of balances, ....)
    • Customer-oriented qualitative processing of questions from intermediaries, customers & colleagues
    • Optimizing quality

    Profile

    • You have at least 5 years of experience in a financial function
    • You can handle change well
    • You can work fluently with Excel
    • You like to work in a team
    • You work efficiently and have no problem meeting deadlines
    • You can assess risks well
