- Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de manager Tracks, die je, binnen de jou toegewezen geografische zone, de leiding van de vernieuwingsprojecten van de sporen en spoorinstallaties toevertrouwt.
- Je staat in voor het bestuderen en definiëren van de aanpassings-, vernieuwings- en/of bouwwerken van de Tracks-installaties. Je maakt hierbij keuzes omtrent de techniek, middelen (budget, personeel en materiaal) en werkwijzen van de werf. Je stelt de gekozen procedures en instructies duidelijk op met oog voor de impact van andere specialisaties.
- Je voert technische analyses uit, ondertekent ontwerpplannen van de werven en lost technische problemen op. In geval van incidenten, sta je voor het implementeren van de nodige (personeels- en technische) middelen en procedures.
- Je analyseert offertes van externe aannemers voor het realiseren van vernieuwingswerken en volgt deze verder op. Je doet voor de realisatie ook beroep op gespecialiseerde diensten.
- Je staat in voor de coördinatie alsook de tijdige en kwalitatieve realisatie van de aan jou toegewezen vernieuwingsprojecten.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheid van het personeel op het terrein en wordt veiligheidscoördinator van werken met aannemers.
- Je zorgt voor de naleving van de interne richtlijnen en de wettelijke bepalingen inzake veiligheid, kwaliteit en milieu op de werven via de organisatie van permanente opleidingen.
- Je detecteert proactief risico's, incidenten en opportuniteiten waarna je verbetervoorstellen ontwikkelt en implementeert in samenwerking met de peers.
- Je staat in voor het onderhouden van goede werkrelaties met interne en externe stakeholders en zorgt voor een goede dialoog met de andere entiteiten.
- Je staat in voor het dagelijks beheer van je team (zowel op HR, financieel als technisch vlak).
- Je werkt deels op kantoor en deels doe je de opvolging op terrein.
- Je hebt een diploma van Burgerlijk of Industrieel Ingenieur behaald, bij voorkeur in de Bouw, Elektromechanica of Mechanica.
- Je plant je werk zelfstandig in, rekening houdend met prioriteiten en deadlines.
- Je bent analytisch, begrijpt complexe situaties/problemen en vindt praktische oplossingen.
- Je bent een goede communicator, diplomatisch en gebaseerd op solide argumenten, kan je assertief en een goede onderhandelaar zijn.

Als infrastructuurbeheerder van het Belgische spoornet heeft het als opdracht een competitieve en aan de huidige en toekomstige behoeften aangepaste infrastructuur ter beschikking te stellen van de spoorwegondernemingen. Veiligheid en stiptheid staan hierbij centraal.
De kwalitatieve vernieuwing en beheer van de sporen en spoorinstallaties is hierbij uiteraard cruciaal. Om deze opdrachten te organiseren, zoeken we een gedreven ingenieur welke ons helpt deze project te realiseren.
Binnen de directie Operations is een doorgedreven onderhoud en vernieuwing van de spoorinfrastructuur de hoofdvoorwaarde voor veilig en stipt treinverkeer. Als projectleider werk je vanuit Gent. Afhankelijk van je toegewezen projecten strekt het werkgebied zich uit over de provincies Oost-Vlaanderen, West-Vlaanderen, Antwerpen en Vlaams-Brabant. Je verplaatst je dan ook regelmatig met de trein of wagen. Voor deze functie werk je ook regelmatig 's nachts of in de weekends.
